Behind the scenes with Australian Gourmet Traveller and the latest Menu for Hope prize odds

Ok. One more prize on offer. And this one's a doozy.

How'd you like to spend a day on set with the team from Australian Gourmet Traveller? Learn all the tips and techniques of food styling and food photography from the professionals who make it look all so easy.

The prize code for this is AP38. Check out Anna's post for more details.

Total monies bid on Asia Pacific prizes

So far US$1,650 has been bid on Asia Pacific prizes. Total fundraising effort stands at US$29,389. Don't forget that all monies raised go toward the UN World Food Programme. Specifically, the amount we raise will go to support the school lunch program in Lesotho, Africa. This program was chosen because the WFP is pushing an initiative to supply the program by buying directly from local farmers who practice conservation farming methods. We help feed the kids (which keep them in school) and support their parents and community farming. This sustainable approach to aid is something we believe in and strongly support.

Current prize odds

Not sure which prize to bid on? Bid with your heart or bid with your head but check out the latest compilation of prize bids to find out which ones will give you the best odds. There are several prizes with only one bid, and *gasp* some with zero! Why not buy a ticket for one of these and cross your fingers?

The prizes in Thailand and Cambodia have yet to garner much interest. Do you know someone who lives in South East Asia? Or perhaps one of your friends or relatives is planning on holidaying there soon? Get them a raffle ticket and watch them become your new best friend when you win!

Fellow foodbloggers are encouraged to pick a prize and take it into foster care - spruik them to your readers for all it's worth. Do you have a regional audience to which a certain prize may appeal? Would your readers be interested in a set of cookbooks, or are they more of a dining kind? Foster a prize and give it some loving before it's sent off to its happy new owner.

These are all great prizes for a wonderful charity. Help us feed a child. What will you be eating this Christmas?

Hi Phyllis - Thanks for your donation. I suggest you email Pim at chezpim[at]gmail.com with the details of your donation (copy the line from the Firstgiving page) plus your email address and the prize codes you had meant to include. She should be able to amend her records before the prizes are drawn.

No worries. Thanks for your help though... I doubt it could be done, but it doesn't matter. =)

Hi Phyllis - Please do email her. Pim has advised that all donations will be double-checked for typos etc, so she will be making manual amendments for typos or missed codes etc.
